In July of 2016, Jericho Water District lost its beloved Chairman, Nicholas J. Bartilucci. In appreciation of his long and very distinguished career that spanned nearly half a century, the remaining Board members felt it fitting to dedicate the Administration Building in his honor.
During his tenure, Nick helped to shape and guide one of the largest municipally run water districts in New York State. With his engineering expertise, hands-on experience, and most of all, his vision, Jericho Water District enjoys a superlative record of efficiency, water quality and up-time.
The dedication of the building is only a small token of gratitude for Nick’s many contributions as well as his influence on water districts across the Long Island.
